Family Karate Center's Work with the Colorado Springs Police Department's DARE Program
The Family Karate Center is proud to be a part of the Colorado Springs Police Department's outstanding DARE Program designed to keeps children off drugs. Working in Conjuction with officer Michael Finn, the Family Karate Center routinely sends teenage karate students out to local elementary schools as role-models of teenagers who have chosen to say NO to drugs and achohol. The Family Karate Center has sent out its role-model team to Taylor, Martinez, Bristol, and Hunt elementary schools among others.
