Family Karate Center's Karate Summer Camps

Thank you for your interest in enrolling yourself and/or your children in the Family Karate Center’s Summer Special Training Camps for 2007! The Family Karate Center has been running Summer Sports Camps since 1992, and hundreds of students have enjoyed the martial arts training and socialization that the camps provide. We look forward to serving you and/or your children this Summer!

We are very happy to provide these educational sports camps to the youth of our community. Studies show that children who are active in a structured environment such as the FKC Summer Camps are much more likely to be successful later in life. They gain valuable life skills including social, intellectual, physical and emotional. Also, they will be less likely to be victims of violent crime, drugs, alcohol, and negative peer pressures.

Every year we provide up to 4 One-Week Training Camps available to students ages 8 years of age and older. Each Training Camp will provide 20 hours of very specific training in activities such as Kobudo (Weapons), Arnis (Stick Fighting), Jujutsu (Grappling), and Competition.

Each camp occurs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Friday. The training schedule will be as follows:

9:00: Drop Off
9:15 – 10:15: Training
1:15 – 10:30: Water / Snack Break
10:30 – 11:30: Training
11:30 – 12:30 Lunch Break
12:30 – 1:30: Training
1:30 – 1:45: Water / Snack Break
1:45 – 2:45: Training
3:00: Pick Up

The cost for each Training Camp is only $150 per participant with family rates available!
